most any local feed feed stores will carry freeze dried beef liver- or lambs lung- etc......

as far as economics- well its a bigger expense up front but last longer- 20-30$ for the liver - you can break it up into real small pieces so it doesn't take the dog to long to eat it and keep moving  and a bucket will last for a long while- and you can keep it anywhere with no issue. i leave a bucket in my truck so if i can track anytime anywhere.

its also all natural and easily digestible and healthy for the dog unlike hot dogs and other processed foods or treats.

now i will say 75% percent of the dogs that come through my home and 2 of my own prefer the beef liver- but 25% and 1 of my personal dogs still prefer the processed foods. But i have only met a handful of dogs out of hundreds that did not like it. So i would definitely give it a shot.

I didn't have time to read this so don't think I'm just stupid if it doesn't help your specific problem. I just remembered this was a sticky. ;-)

Yeah, Jenni, this one is more about teaching the articles and doesnt help with food tracks. How you been?

Yoshy, I will check in our feed stores and see what I can come up with. Really like the idea! Wonder if it would work with "baked till tried" liver too, or if that one would be still to "juicy".

Alaman, interesting as well. I might try that one too, just to see how it would work.

Salami seems to work well against ants.

Tuna is the best way to beat birds.
