Thanks Jackie and Kim,
You guys get it!! ;-)
It's awesome to have dogs that are so serious when working and then can come home and cuddle and play with the kids. A few times I have brought my kids to training and on the way home will find Galan taking a nap with his head on one of the kid's laps.
Clear headed dogs are very important to me since they are so much a part of my family.
My new male's sire is a very hard dog but super safe around kids, he loves them! And the dam who I have been waiting for a puppy from for near three years, is also a very serious bitch on the field, but is also a house dog. I have high hopes for this little guy :-)
After I title my dogs, which will take a few  years, I hope I may breed dogs that are as well balanced as the ones I have been lucky enough to get.
I know I'm putting the cart before the horse in talking about breeding, but I don't think there's anything wrong with having plans and daydreaming that some day I may produce dogs that excel in sport and be safe around people ;-)
And Kim, if I can produce even oen pup like Izzy, I'll be proud as a peacock! LOL

Thanks all for letting me boast. (I'm sure most of you would rather just see a few pics and could do w/out the novels I write every time lol!)
Hopefully people who are only lurking and thinking about getting a GSD will see this and realize that if they go to a reputable kennel and research the individual dogs in the pedigres they are interested in,  they can feel safe working their dogs in sport and having it live in their homes with their family at the same time...Cheers!

It was nice to see those pics. The female that I had like Indi was like that with my niece. My brother took some pics of Zuni when she was a fat pregnant cow playing with my niece and then would be all licky on her. Then my brother "formated" the pics NOT knowing what that meant.Well it meant it was going to erase them...witch it did.So no pics of her. So it is nice to see Indi being sweet with your son.
