All of my own personal GSD's have lived to be 14 to 16, I have even had some rescues lived that long, wish it was longer though...20-24 at least, would be awesome, better yet. As long as I have to live!!!! LOL....

we had 2 go to 19 & 20 the 20 yr old was a collie/shep mix the 19 was a american shepherd it may be true depending on the life it had
