Yep, the Sportdog is one I bought just a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if I have that microphone positioned correctly? Guess it is time to call those folks!

I HATE HATE HATE the Dogtra bark collar... I feel like it goes off at time even when the dog isn't barking...

The Dogtra I had went off for no reason and the dog ended up sitting in a corner afraid. I LOVE the Tri-tronics unit I have, the intensity escalates if the dog continues to bark and it has the "odometer" to tell if the dog barked and how much. Not a rechargable, but easily replaceable.
My bitch has a neck that is easily irritated and I can put it on slightly looser that her working remote and she can wear the bark collar daily. Because the intensity escalates she had learned to bark only once and let it turn off. Easily corrected by increasing the intensity on the collar.
