At first glance it may seem like class a isn't good enough for some. It's a good thing to be happy with your work and content with what you got so that you can move on to the next new thing your are trying to learn.
Oops, I was referring to this thread:

See this is the importance in action of staying on topic.

Windy -
I think what is being pointed out that High in Trial (technically it is called High Scoring Dog in Regular Classes in the AKC) denotes just that - the high scoring dog in the trial. In the trial that is being discussed here that went to Betty Barnes' Sheltie named Steed in the Open B class. You received first place in Novice A. If you scroll down on the below link you will see that they list Steed as the High Scoring Dog in Regular Classes.

Still, congratulations on your first foray into AKC obedience and good luck in the future. I love seeing Novice A teams out there :-)

Pshyct,
Thank you for helping me with this. I seem to be confused about how to word things.
I thought by pointing out (copy past: At our title show (AKC), he WON HIGH IN TRIAL A classes) that it was class A, I represented that is was not High in day trail. I tried to be CLEAR that it was class A and that I was shocked. What more can one do?
