A really strange coincidence, I stated something very similar this morning about potentially recovering removed character traits, including the "within 3 to 5 generations" part. Of course, there's other factors involved that can affect that estimate, like how many generations removed from the phenotype, or the size of the genepool for selection. But I definitely agree that it's probable.
