This bottom pic is a horrible one...Bad angle, bad setting. It doesn't do her justice...She doesn't even look like this normally, it's just the camera angle and me squatting down, trying not to entice her to move. She is not nearly so scrawny looking as she appears in this pic...Much more like the one above, as they were taken a couple of days apart. In this one, she looks kind of slab sides, her back is too flat, and her rear..Let's not even go there. But in reality, it is much better than it looks. I'll get a decent pic of her standing for comparison one of these days. I haven't taught her to stand stay yet...So we haven't got any single person stack pics and I haven't had anyone else to stack her for me or to take a pic while I stack her.
When I get a better one I'll post it, but I figured I'd post the pics I do have, since we're all supposed to "man up" and show our dogs, since we criticize others' dogs...Here's Oakley, the little blind pup...from question mark lines!

Large substantial male with a strong topline and good boning for his size. Not overly heavy in bone. Good depth of chest but narrow through the front. Shoulder angulation? Phbbbt. Steep and short in upperarm, very upright, lacks reach which causes him to kick up in the rear (unmatched angulations). Depending on who you talk to he has awesome color and terrible pigment. I would say his pigment is bad. Overall his color is good. He is not red red red, but the standard says that tan is perfectly acceptable.
Tail set is a bit high, pasterns long (I will not call pasterns weak when their issue is length, not ligamentation, I will be happy to explain what I mean if asked). Feet are decent but could be tighter. Good secondary sex characteristics, good strong topline. Full dentition, a bit loose in the flews.
Overall would like a longer upper arm and more opening through the shoulder blade, lower tailset, darker saddle, more spring of rib, and, just to nit pick, tighter lips.

This is a 6 week old pup. I would say nice head, good ear set (althought they are flopped..hehe), good shoulder,
nice topline, good bone. tight feet. Not to bad for a 6 week old female pup

I think I will follow your advice, besides, the AKC takes enough of my money, might as well not waste it.
I can socialize him at various trainning clubs!

Crys! You are right about that being a horrible pic of Oakley. No way does it do her justice! You need to go back and edit your post and we will just wait until you get a good stack. Get that pic off of here! Now, what I can remember of other posts of our girl, she is a well balanced dog, with good angulation, maybe a little straight in the shoulder, and a little long in the thigh, good croup & tail set, good ear set, nice expression, good mask, eyes are dark. She has a good tuck, nice chest, good feet. She could be a little richer in color and there is that bitch stripe...Echo is getting one too. Oakley is a precious, gift and a nice looking dog too.
I think it is great everyone is coming on here and critiquing their own dogs! Good idea KCzaja!

Silas was bred by Joe and Chris Stump, Silbersee Kennels. I made a 1500 mile trip to evaluate this very nice litter just to find that Joe had not exaggerated at all on the quality.
This pic is VP1 from a very large class at a regional WDA show. It is a shame that some of the others from this litter didn't make it into show homes.
