It is now 4.50 in the morning and as soon as i finish this post i am in the car to Germany to see the WUSV last day and Izzys Daddy on Protection
I am sure if Ronny and Karl Decker have a decent Protection Phase the World Team  Title will come to tiny Belgium,
I know the Guys and the Team Captain have worked hard for months to get to this Goal and i applaud there Drive and work put into getting this Title back home i hope they do,
But the Protection phase has yet to come in a few Hours we will know
Whoever wins it it will have been won fairly and with Sportsmanship

I looked at every stand and made inquiries if anyone knew if there was going to be a Video published for the WUSV event, no one did know anything which was disappointing, There must be someone doing it, if anyone else finds out please tell us on here sorry not to have some good News
I told Izzy tonight that her Daddy did not finish up the Champion but his 7th Place was highly commendable from over 160 entries, and as he is only three years old he has time on his side to go again
been up getting on for 20 hours today so time for bed

Well, it was a whole lot of fun...

The cosing ceremony is "Olympic style" with all countries, their teams, all their dogs, team captains and officials go ont he field with their flag and "parade" before the stands.

Not sure how the Scottish bagpipe music fit into the picture, but what the hell - better to have some lederhosen and oompah music there for the "atmosphere".

WUSV is won by a lady from Israel and her dog - great performance and sincere thank you. Now, I'd be happy when a lady with a female dog wins it all, would love to see that.

Jurgen from Germany and his dog Eric Sportpark came in 2nd witha monster performance. An amazing feat! He won last week's BSP beating Javir Talka Marda (who came 4th here, too) and a MERE WEEK later shows up again and takes 2nd place. That is one great dog. I am kind of sad to know that he will never be bred, such a shame, such a great dog. Erok Sportpark is my 2nd favorite here after Erri and Mike Diehl. If only an "illegal" breeding could be done...

Daniel Cox, I have met him, very nice kid and his dog Chuck had a great performance. Especialy pleased to know that Chuck is 1/4 showline dog and they did good. Everyone from USA did a great job and we rightfully took Team 4th place, just 3 points behind Belgium who took 3rd.

Como Bonauer Wald is right now what Michael Jordan was in like, 1988. Superstar on the rise. He is very young, around 3 years old and he was compete at the highest level for 3, 4 or even more years...

Javir Talk Marda, as alwats standardly great and took 4th place.

A Mexican Champ took 100 points in C. Canadian judge Lance Collins, who also judged VERY fairly kept his critique very short.

His critiques are always a minute or 2, going over the dog's and teams performance after each exercise, hold and bark this, transport that, long attack this etc...

After the Mexican team's performance, the organizer brought the microphone to him for the critique, he stepped up, not looking at the notes or anything, smiled and kept the critique very short: Quote" ONE HUNDRED POINTS"! and stepped off, awaiting for the next competitor, with the Mexican competitor being a bit startled by all that expecting a "normal" critique. I thoguht that was way cool, short and to the point.

Now... the dog I was most interested in seeing Erri and Mike Diehl.

His 16th place, ALTHOUGH GREAT is not indicative of the dog at all, he could have been top 5. He was holding onto the lead and the leaders in a VERY, VERY close race with his 96 tracking, I believe and 97 protection. I watched the obedience routing. Everything was just fine, the performance in the 90s, FOR SURE. As it stood before the send away, it was a 93, 04 performance, which should have brought them to 3rd, 4th or 5th place.

Then, they got ready for the send out, they walked off, Mike raised his hand the dog started sprinting and after maybe 12, 13 steps, just circled around, looked around for a split second and downed. At this level, that is mot passing for the whole exercise, whihc is 10 points out of 100 that judge has to deduct. A shame, really, but still they did great.

That's all I can think for now.

Just a glimpse at the end of the performance for a 100 in C Mexico team and a very long, boring critique of the performance by C WUSV Judge Lance Collins, who judged great and fair throughout the competition.

I am curious about one statement. Why can't Eric be bred?

Eric is unfortunately a one-nutter.

Just want to say great job to Bert and Toine. Me and Quenta are proud of her two boys that have done very well.
