Hodie, my deepest condolences to you. Your reputation is very respected, I am sure the dog community will help you find the right homes for your four legged loved ones. To know one's limits is a skill. Bless you for all the good you have done for dogs and the sport you love.

Please email if there is anything I can do! Maybe, you can send me a list of the dogs and photos with a description. Our GSDWorld forum has a rescue area. I or one of our moderators can post it.

Hodie: I can only say RIP for Thor and Donni. Looks as if you and I are in the same boat, with different waters to cross, same oars...
No one understands losing two much less 4 . Now we have to figure out where all the rest go..all the boys and girls we have spent our life raising and their grandkids now look at us and say NOT ME MOMMY...we want to stay with you...very sad
I am, too, having a very long difficult time , even putting the ads in the paper....I keep saying , next month...
You have my number, so If you need to talk give me a call.....I will pray you find the courage to do what needs done and fine people to be their forever home....
My kids call and say , Mom , have you made any progress and how many dogs are still there today????? well, my answer is the same.......still the same kids here...just have not done it yet...
I know exactly the feeling you have right now ..oh boy do I know the feeling.....My back has given out and good for me my son has been here but has gone home.. He will return and he will help me find homes and decide how to do the same thing you have to do....shut it down, put the leashes on the hooks...and SMILE>...WE DID A GOOD JOB WE DID OUR BEST>>>> WE Thank and we now rest...When the body wears out we have no other choice..

I has very happy to see your ID pop up Hodie.....then I read the note. All I can say is I am so very sorry. I am postive those dog had wonderful lives.

My heart breaks for you. So very sorry for the loss of your two closest buddies. Thank goodness you've had them to love and they knew nothing but love and caring from you. I hope you are able to find homes for all the others. I hope things start looking up for you soon!
