We have lots of adorable deer mice here, no grey ones. Those electronic thingimajiggers sound great, I'll have to see if I can find them around here.
When we were first married, we lived in an old farm house, had no mice, but one day my budgie went missing from his cage. I found him stuffed in a hole under my sink. After pulling him out, I saw a pair of beady eyes. We had a weasel, they, or ferrets will chase away mice and rats too
