I completely agree about the gsd-euro list. What a wealth of bloodline and pedigree information! ¶Other informative lists are the Max gsd, Schutzhund and usa-gsd list, both of which are yahoo lists. ¶Workingdog forum is also very good. It is unfortunate that the non-dog political crap has proliferated to the extent that it has.¶

I like this one: Fun Educational nice people lots of information not only for the working groups we have info for most of all types of Sports,Conformation just about anything. The best of all NO BASHING OR BAD TALK ALOWED.

I look at both this forum and the GSD World forum (with a different user name). GSD world forum is in general a lot more friendly (or more closely moderated?) and has some fun sections like the monthly photo contest. I also find it possible to post photos there but not on this one. On the other hand this forum tends to be more active with new topics much more frequently, and of course the pedigree database is invaluable.

The workingdog forum is good, shepherd central can be good. GSDworld can also be good and it is actually moderated to keep it a pleasant place, no bashing allowed.

This site is an anything-goes, free-for-all. You need a thick hide to post here, but the pedigree information is wonderful. PDB is an entertainment site. The other sites are better if you actually want information.

Check out German Shepherd World www.germanshepherdworld.org

It's a forum and then some. It's like Facebook but just for German Shepherd community. It has features none of the others have like live chat, profiles and dog profiles, photo albums, video, blogs, articles, events, groups and so on.

I just got the link yesterday and it looks brand new.

The working dog forum is outstanding, lots of good information. One of my favorites is the Gsd-Euro group, information is quick and there is no BS there.

I registered at the working dog forum a few days ago but haven't been approved yet. The moderators must not be around on the weekends? In any event, looks like a lot of good info and look forward to joining. I also plan to check out the yahoo groups. Thanks to all for the recommendations.

No bashing allowed. Everyone topic from Breeding to Pedigree to every aspect of training and dog sport/work and photos, rescue, etc. So many users and posts.... I check in several times a day. Highly recommend. Very easy to use, find topics , very well put together for novice to breeder and seasoned pros.
