Be prepared a Broker is a must from $200 up.  Flights are now coming in late when the head of customs is gone, so pups go to a kennel at $60.00  a head over night Cash paid next morning, no credit cards or checks, CASH only to boarder.
,
I was told it is not worth importing now because of the new rules and expense, flights high, brokers a must n they do nothing but have one sign power of attorney.  Flights come in by 8 pm nightly all are gone to clear, so your forced to board, a riggin with somebody in cargo to make a kennel boarder rich.

I have never seen such expense, in your email from gradlyn is a brokers name and number to call Barthco, expensive, I hired another a little cheaper.  No more importing, I will take a flight and bring back one with me and see how it goes that way?

I haven't seen anyone mention the new Federal import regulations.  As of February 1st 2009, any dog imported into the U.S. that is not shipped with a passenger as excess baggage is subject to the handling of a broker.

The only way you can get around it is to travel to Europe and bring the dog back with you, or have someone travel with the dog.  Any dog coming in shipped as cargo has to be handled by a broker.
