The movie did not really hit me as a comedy because I can't stand for any dog to misbehave like Marley did. It mostly just aggravated me. The best part (for me) was when he spilled the kibble and the puppy is sprawled out on his belly munching away. That did tickle me. The rest of it just, I don't know, irratated me. The goodbye scene made me cry because it is sad to have to go through that. I just recently went through it in November. I liked that the movie didn't sugar coat anything though. As far as I'm concerned that movie won't sell any more Labs and I don't think Bolt will sell any GSDs. It might sell hamsters though!!

I liked the film, prefered the book. but as blackthorngsd said, definitely not a kids film! I saw plenty of parents bring their kids when i went. They obviously didn't know the ending.
It wasn't as funny as the book, but it delivered much more sadness than the book IMO.

Loved Bolt! I don't think people will run out and get WGSDs though. While I'm convinced that he was an animated WGSD, most of the viewers won't have any clue, and Disney did a good thing for rescues by opening the movie with Bolt being picked out at a super nice shelter facility.
