Speaking of pups,

Mom Bonnie was from a litter of 13, she just recently had 12, I lost 2 though.

To have really good milk production I always feed the moms raw chicken, or turkey, plus they love
the raw stuff way more than any kind of kibble.
The first few nights I just kept putting pups on the pile of pups if one was to roll away, it's also very
noisey the first few nights, then I jump up and run into their room cause I don't hear anything, and half
are sleeping and half are eating, course I'm thinking the worst but they are into their own routine now.

Their eyes have just opened and they are 14 days old, my girls seem to always have litters
of 12 or 13, I don't need to supplement, they just take turns nursing, I just took a pic of them,
mom was outside..everything is quiet, group photos are the hardest to take,

Below before mom comes in the door..................            Then after mom comes in the door.............

Below all but one is satisfied........and then there's always one that wants to climb back in

Today is individual picture day, it will probably only take 4 hours

Cmills,

I knew a lady that bred her dogs for search & rescue and she always had the front ones removed,

In fact when I got my pup from her, her front dewclaws were gone, I think some Lab breeders also
remove the front ones, so they don't injure themselves while hunting through the brush.

I quess that's being extra careful.
