Well after finding this dogs original owner, I found he was pretty much raised on a RAW diet. So I took the plundge and started RAW. Within a few days, 100% improvement. I actually switched 3 dogs over cold turkey, and I was amazed that the kennels smelled better, their poops are small and almost non-stinkey:0) I was always too worried about switching to a totally RAW diet, now I wish I had done it sooner. Thanks to all for their ideas, and suggestions.

Hi Nicole - you beat me to it, I was going to suggest raw........ plenty of info on the Internet, here are two good sites www.dogaware.com
There is also a very good book by Susan K. Johnson called "Switching to Raw". www.switchingtoraw.com
Good luck with your dog, I bet he's feeling much better already!
