Mystere, I agree with you.  There are other databases, I am sure, that can handle the other subjects matter.  I also wish Oli could delete some of the crude, inappropriate four letter words from the data base vocabulary so that when they are used they would appear as "xxxx".  I sometimes feel I need to go take a bath after reading some threads.  ecs

Maybe you shouldn't read those thread's if it make's you feel dirty.

I agree that the use of four letter word's should be subject to moderation.   I think adult's should be able to communicate without the (F) word.    But beyond the(F) word which word's would you suggest we delete??  Are there any book's we should burn?  How about image's?   How much flesh can be allowed before it's obsene?    

It's a slippery surface this moderation of word's image's and thought's.   Who does the deciding?

People should not live such sheltered live's or they will be taken by suprise one day and be helpless to cope with reality.

I dunno....  this is alway's a sore spot for me.    I'd fight for Ranger's use of foul language even if it does offend me, and I don't really want to single out ranger, there are plenty of people here who use big word's from time to time.. including myself.

If you want to protect yourself from word's then just choose not to read them.
