Arrakis

Well you know Hodie, as much as your severely obese brain would like to believe it.

YOU DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!

uvw, Hodie does her best to find and  glean her information off the web. I found out when I did a report from one of my nutrition classes in college. She quoted that SAME internet page I was instructed to read as an assignement.

So her bullshit is deep indeed too!

Email me and I'll send you the information about the use of Essiac and its success. Sometimes cancer is caused by environmental and they are even claiming that cancer is based on the yeast in one's body.

Maybe Hodie can sit on her very lard ass and look that one up too... She can claim her engineering degree made her that smart too

post the liver and blood test results and the blood panel result?

do you have them?

find another vet.,if your friend doesnt have any  test results,,,they can be done in office and sent for the further indebpth one   and she took the dog home untreated...gosh

I and anyone else can tell you the right antibiotic to use for kidney and bladder infections, but without knowing what the other specs are....not gonna do it...I know what I would do , but your not me. not have my experience...

Post the results if you want so we can just guide your friends mind to where she should go next...and it may be too late if she doesnt hop to it.

I think I am puzzled. no plan but paid a vet for what?

Arrakis, I think you never had much of a brain and your ethnic insults in the past are so out of line I am ashamed you live in this country. You know squat. When you do let us know. As for quoting something about nutrition, a quote is just that, in case you don't get that either. Would you care to post one of your grand papers you have written for the scholars here to rip to shreds? I don't think so.  And if you make outlandish statements, then damn, you better be prepared to back them up and that is something you don't know how to do. Care to tell us how much you know about the genesis of a variety of cancers? Human or otherwise? I did not think so. Would you bet your life on some tea? I hope so.

I know who you are by the way and if you want to go there, we can and I think you would not want to do that. If you want to post crap about me, do so, but in the end, be prepared because you are completely out of line here as before.

Grow up you bigoted moron.

You don't know everything Hodie

You should look in a mirror too, old fat one... You aren't as smart as you would like others to think you are.

I'm not insulting you. I'm just one of few here that have the guts or audacity to get your your face when you insult those with only your internet words you spew.

Calling me a moron doesn't carry the weight your body does, so I don't take it to heart.

You just hate it when ANYONE questions your borrowed knowledge.

Op-

You might go check out spoiledmaltese.com forum if this is a malt mix. I am assuming they have ruled out a liver shunt? I don't even know that all those symptoms match - but toy dogs have weird stuff go wrong.

There are a lot of holistic options available and the spoiled maltese people are very cool and can advise on things in conjunction with the vet's advice.

Also - make sure the vet has lots of toy experience.

#1 thing I would like to know is is the dog neutered? This is the usual remedy for prostate problems. If the prostate is so enlarged that the dog has great difficulty emptying its bladder, this could cause a kidney infection, as Hodie has said. And yes, that's serious stuff, as you know. I really don't think anything in the way of holistic or natural remedies are going to do much of anything to help this poor dog. The vet should put it on antibiotics, then once the infection has resolved, and the dog is well enough for surgery, have it neutered, if this hasn't been done already.

If the dog IS already neutered, surgery can be done to reduced the size of the prostate, but no doubt the vet will want to try other solutions before resorting to an operation.

 Arrakis,

I welcome ANY knowledge given by anyone who can back up what they say with scholarship. But look, I wrote knowledge. I am not sure you know what that means. Heres' to hoping someone at your school helps you learn how to do real scholarship. And here is to someone who condemns your bigoted statements about people of Middle Eastern decent. If you had any sense, which clearly you do not, you would apologise to AristianM and others. Bigots have small minds however, so perhaps you cannot fit much else in.

And, when you are my age, given my disabilities, I would like to see if you could keep up with me as I am now. You are impertinent and ignorant and if it were simply because you were young, people might forgive that. But you are a coward too who hides behind a screen name thinking you are invisible. But as I said, some of us know who you are and when you have guts enough to stand out here and list your life accomplishments (some 40 plus years from now), maybe you will also have a little common sense and humility. Until then, post what you like, but when you do what you did a few weeks ago, along with some of your other coward friends (whom I also know and who others would be taking to task if they knew some of the unethical behavior they have engaged in) then be prepared to get it back. I will post whenever and whatever I decide to do and if people want to ignore what I write, that is fine. Many do but many more do not and if I had a dollar for every person who writes asking for help, I would not have to work at all. I rarely engage in these types of discussions so this will be the end of it. But my background and experience is legions above what yours will ever be. As I said coward, grow up. And get some integrity while you are at it, not to mention some couth. Or perhaps you just want to smell badly.....as you accuse others of smelling.

You shold have the dog neutered if the dog has an enlarged prostrate. That  would give him a lot of relief. Most of the time they give dogs Cipro for kidney infections but you need to make sure you do what is considered best by your vet.

Good Luck

Hodie

How come anytime you argue with someone you start calling names such as a racist or bigot?  I have found "people" like you who do not have a valid argument start calling people racists or bigots. These are the most over used and abused words in the english language.

Why don't you simply address the allegation against you?  You have been accussed of using other people's knowledge as your own in a misleading way?  Stick to the facts and then some of us might believe you for a change.

Now you can try to re-direct the attack to me but I am trying to help you, don't shoot the messenger!
