Hey Peter! I learned alot about marketing litters from Melissa. It is easy if you ever were on her email list. You learn someting from everyone! And I am trying to teach Blitzen the finer art of marketing her puppy mill operation. What goes around comes around. We are now going to redo Blitzen's website and it is going to be called: Shepherdsvonblitzen.com Wait till you see our "Special Use" page. We are working on getting our German friend to endorse the site. If you want to have a Breed Share on one of Blitzen's super puppies contact Blitzen. $5,000 for a breed share (of course you have to trust Blitzen because Blitzen keeps the registrations of these dogs.) But trust is everyting. If you work with a good Team like Blitzen and Cohorts, you have nothing to worry about. What a deal. And the bitches will produce godzillions of puppies with sleeves in their mouths. We will ship anywhere in the world. Sunny

That Blitzen really knows a thing or two when it comes to real quality Shepherds, Sunny - I hear he received three exceptionally bred imports just last week - prices for pups very reasonable - people standing in line ,I hear!

Just wait til you see this litter, Sunshine, they are destined to place Va at the Siegershau. I've decided to raise the asking price to $10,000 and for that price, please don't embarass me by asking for a guarantee. Wildthing, how come there are no Horror House dogs on the OFA website if all your dogs are OFA'd? Too bad you are such a disptick, your dogs look decent. Frankly, you're starting to bore me with all you stupid talk. Why don't you save up your puppy money, go to Oz, see the Wizard and get yourself a brain.

No! Did you get another offer on first pick! I already sent you Blitzen $2,500 to reserve Zulu before he was even born with that dumbell! Wild will never be able to reach your high estimation. Don't worry! I mean who would buy from a kennel called "Horror House". Rather prefer "Lightning House" for my stud dog. XOXO Sunny

Yes the pedigrees are correct. Many of the big winners of the era were from Lance crossing with another Axel grand son, Bernd Von Kalingraten (sic. AS far as the upheaded stance. I think that is just the way they are stacked and photographed. Unfortunately however this has become much worse over the years. Now we work on getting their heads up, and running very fast. In all of the breeds, it is flashier. Then you open the shoulder assembly up, so the feet are directly under the ears. Tack on this very long second thigh that has no visable means of support which then gives a long soft back with a big slope to get downto the hind legs. Add flat ribbing so the dogs can pole vault over the front leg... They lack suspension, power and the ability to shorten and lenghtne their strides. Many four-beat instead of trot. Anyhow it isn't in the standard. Nor is a big roach where the highest point of the dog is actually not the wither but somewhere behind. Both standards are quite explicit about the wither being the highest point in the back. Also both call for level toplines when moving. When you see the dogs doing the work they were originally bred to do you see the faults of all the dogs not just American ones but also the pure working ones and the over done roach backed ones. I have dogs that come to herd with me from every bloodline imaginable and I will stand by my contention that the standard is where one needs to look to determine correctness.

OMG!!!! LOL LOL LOL You guys are a riot! The sad thing is that someone thinks that this is all TRUE!!!!! But it is kind of like pulling wings off of bugs...........

A bit of reality that is hidden,in this particular hemisphere, with the breed we love so much. And so much to the discredit of those who are trying so hard to do things right. If this is a germ in changing things, I hope it has not only provided humour. It happens here everyday on the internet in marketing our precious dogs. Sunny

Sunny, Firethorn, Blitz, Kougar, Anyone? Please offer answer to earlier question: Where US Show animals are concerned how widespread or common is the Lance style of dog - ie, neck/head held relatively high and erect?

by sunshine on 08 December 2004 - 10:12

I dunno, but certainly more so than European. Just you never see them where we work. . . Sunny
