K9 Shot and killed - Page 2

KCzaja, Too bad this shit head isnt in the water with them for a meal. I am sorry but this shit pisses me off!!! Gee, maybe he is going to sue now because he was once was bitten... Killing an officer of the law K9 should be the equivalent in sentence as if he had killed a human officer.PERIOD!!!!Brittany thanks for sharing the info but this idiot will never pay restitution for the loss of the K9 partner.I wonder how his partner is doing?? Whom is going to foot the bill at the hospital?? I am very curious about the gun this idiot was carrying..and used.I would like to know if the K9 was wearing a vest.Where was he shot?? I dont know what vests K9's use now if any.This could impede movement..and to say the least not guard against some bullets.A long while ago..there wasn't enough finances for a K9 to even have a vest.What is the situation now?I would like to know more what went on with the K9 officers.If they were on this guy..could they have been saved if they had gear on the head.???In ref to domestic violence.It has now become a police problem.For the most correct me if I am wrong..The police have been given jurisdiction(sp) to intercede but if they dont have the backing that they need..It happens over and over again.This is a real problem that is snow balling.The K9's did their job and no human officers were lost.That is the intent RIGHT??The K9's in ww1 and world war 2 as well as the korean war..vietnam etc.. NEVER forget a fallen soldier!!In order to help..Real stories like these should be sent out to any media source.The police themselves cant do it.

It is always difficult to read the death of a fallen Officer, human or K-9.  Oozi and his family are in my thoughts.
