Put some vaseline on the nose.

YOU can also use   EMT gel ,   a natural collagen used on small and large animals....it is sticky and wont be licked off..

It is natural and no chemical base... Buy it at Tractor Supply in the horse med isle.

Also something we all have in our kitchens,,,,,,extra virgin olive oil is a wonderful antioxidant and skin healer..

I put it on my dogs when they have signs of dry noses...I also rub on their ears inside.

People for years  , have rubbed it on dry elbows, bald heads and it a great healer of skin...

Forgot about it until just now.

Inside and outside the dog  it works wonders.  Put on their pads also..but kennel them so they dont make paw prints., until morning.
