I would not ask this vet what SHE wants to do ,,,I would find me a different vet period ,,Have his records transferred....I dont think she understands the intriqit intestional problems some german shepherds have and I know for a fact that beneful was the cause of this dog vomiting every day....I couldnt believe the vet , didnt know to change the food .....anytime a dog is vomiting and has diahrea yu have to pull the fat content down to 3 to 4 percent...and their are very few foods that have that % .....special ole Science Diet....and for that it wouldnt hurt for a week or two is the only company to make special diets...dont fall for the vets solution to feed science diet either....because he is in trouble the low fat diet SD makes are used for a few weeks until his body evens out.....keep the yogurt
keep him on the same diet do not keep changing his food fix the same food every day until you get him and his body balanced.....keep the yougurt and chicken or hamburger...go slow on all the other things for a while....dont hit his body too fast.....molasses, honey and peanut butter may upset him and then you wont know if the hamburger is working for him....most dogs dont do beef very well....so stay on the beef and dont mix up a bunch of new things so fast...go slow....and small amounts three times a day instead of one big meal......hope this does it.......did you feel the rubbery texture of beneful/
ALSO DO NOT FEED THIS DOG TREATS FOR A MONTH OR TWO AND READ YOUR LABELS IF IT HAS RED DYE OR NITRATES OR NITRITES , OR MADE IN CHINA DO NOT BUY SMOKED THINGS ARE NOT GOOD EITHER ....THE HAMBURGER BALLS ABOVE ARE EXCELLENT FOR THE DOG IF YOU WANT SOMETHING FOR HIM .......BUT START SLOW AND ONLY ONE A DAY .....
