"RETIRED" (?) POLICE OFFICER STARVES/NEGLECTS DOGS - Page 5

I am also new to this forum, however, have known the owner of Alt Ostland  for several years.  I have bought several puppies from her over the years.

I have been to her old place many many times and have NEVER seen anything even remotely resembling any kind of abuse.  Thanks to Denese for telling the story. 

How on earth could she continue to show her dogs with excellent results if all this were true??  Perhaps it would be a good idea to NOT believe everything you read until you actually investigate it yourself.   Gossip is just that, gossip!  Anyone can say anything about anyone at anytime, but it does not make it true.

All dogs were happy and healthy ALL the times I have been there. I have personally seen the owner go to great lengths to be sure she is always taking the best of care with her dogs, even those who are visiting.  She has the largest dog food bill I have ever seen!  She does preventative vet visits and if a dog is ever sick or injured it goes right to the vet (Who, by the way could verify).

Not the actions of someone who starves and mistreats dogs. 

The woman who posted this has got something wrong with her mental capabilities.  To offer to help with temporary housing and then dump most of the dogs at the SPCA is just ridiculous! Not to mention horribly cruel!

Does any one know of Wolf 's von der Hausmauls where abouts ??? Sheri had both my Wolf von der haus maul as well as Gunda von Riverhaus.:-(

I know Gunda is into a good hands now,but I'm very concerned for my male Wolf. I  sold Wolf / Gunda to this Sheri Struck back in July  this year  who truly had me fooled as well, thinking she was the perfect home for my two beautiful dogs.Sheri promised to me that Wolf/gunda would have a 4 ever home with her if I sold her my dogs since I wanted to retire..What a liar!!!! All she was after was Gunda's whelp  and sent her packing after her litter.:-(((((

I was a so  STUPID and a COMPLETE fool to have sold you those two wonderful /beautiful animals.

Gunda came to another  new owner in MI I believed Kaye said last Friday, run down in health and,scared to death!

Sheri I hope you BURN  for what you have done to that beautful dog I sold you!!!!

Gunda is now doing well with the love and care of her new owner.Thank you Kaye! I  pray everyday for Wolf that someone GOOD will have him and his out of her hands!

I too had a nightmare of an experience with Sheri Struck. When she inquired also to buy one of my females in whelp for her personal pet.  I had red flaggs with her when she showed so much interest for the unborn litter. This woman is a complete psycho and is very convincing.  I heeded the red flaggs and refused to sell to her even though she was willing to drive all the way here to pick up from me personally and was very distraught that I would not sell to her. Something did not click with this woman and I had huge RED FLAGS!!  After my female whelped she inquired again to buy her and told me she now owned Gunda and Wolf wanted to breed my female again to Aron, Also breed Gunda to Aron and buy a puppy.  I told her no way would I sell to her and then I recieved some real psycho email.  Thank God I did not sell to her!!!! I would be absolutely horrified to have later found all of this out and too seen my dog in starving photos.

I have more emails of her becoming a psycho and what a monster she turns into.  God help you Shari you are the sickest individual I have ever run accross.  I hope you are prosecuted and chained to a tree for what you did to those dogs.

It is remarkable to me how regrettably naive and stupid you folks can be. As a newcomer to this board, I have read every topic and all the replies. I find that many of you are what can be referred to as "fence riders" - you come out on both sides of an argument without knowing - or for that matter caring about - the facts. Very inconsistent.

I am a member of the group trying to stop the nonsense and neglect perpetrated by AltOstland kennels. Some of you recognize the fact that this kennel possesses far too many dogs to be "about the dogs" As well, some of you have had dealings - and not good ones - with this kennel. The latter mentioned and their recent comments are disturbing.....to climb to the other side of the fence without any factual basis is, to say the least, outrageous.

To put things into persepctive:  Judy Malone aka AltOstland kennls has in her possession numerous dogs of DDR lineage that are very nice and breedworthy - however, there are several others who are not. For example, Etta v. Schaferliesel will not pass OFA - Ms. Malone wishes to breed her and try to allay puppy buyers' concerns by stating that she will not pass because of environmental reasons - which you all know cannot be proven to any degree of certainty. As other examples. Sissa v. Grafental, Yvette v. Schaferliesel, Elsa v. Grafental are all "nervy basket cases" - which all of you know that, regardless of the cause, will be transeferred to the puppies in the whelping box.

I also find it incomprehensible that 2 supposedly well-respected breeders - Julie Marlowe and "Gisela" have ADMITTEDLY known about the condition of these dogs for a considerable amount of time - yet chose to say or do nothing. As well, they choose to make someone else a scapegoat. Disgusting. Ms. Marlowe doesn't even own her own dogs - she breeds under the auspices of an "investor"! And as for her "gut feelings" she has none. She - as most breeders - will sell a puppy to anyone with a checkbook. Sometimes she has trouble placing all of the MANY litters she has per year.

To make matters worse, don't any of you find it at all questionable that Ms. Malone did not and probably will not provide you with the telephone numbers of the 3 veterinarians that are involved in this case? As for her vet reference? Also extremely questionable - sharing 4 syringes of rabies vaccine for 15 dogs?!?!

And now to address the "Rhoda Hall story....Ms. Hall can only be described as a "puppy-miller" herself. Have any of you ever wondered why she didn't even go as far as to use the german system of naming her litters in the customary way with a "letter" for each litter? And do any of you wonder why Gunda v. River Haus was bred EVERY heat since just before the age of 2 years? And why she never had a final OFA done on her? I have seen Gunda, and she is a very nice specimen, however, she is nervous, urinates nervously etc - that is obvious from early on in her life. I have also seen Wolf - who is better adjusted, but is also nervous at times. This also can be attributed to early life. I have also spoken with several folks who have been involved with Ms. Hall - apparently she will sell a puppy to anyone with a checkbook. That notwithstanding, she has managed to "align" herself with some "reputable" breeders who may defend her - just as Ms. Malone has her defenders - who I must say are all of questionable character since they all have something to gain by their defense of these individuals. Ms. Malone's defenders routinely have access to her stud dogs - free of charge. By the way - these studs are not used solely for the perpetuation of the DDR lineage. As well, some of the stud dogs can be classified at this time as "duds" - as a result of poor care and/or overuse in either live cover or semen collection.

Thats why you didn't get a dog from me even when you cried and talked about your little nursery your dear sweet husband had just built for you all complete with a rocking chair ! I smeld your fraud miles away! But I welcome you to come show your face here now. You cowardly puke! Why did you want a dog from me, dogs from Rhoda, and to take on a a trailer load of them all at the same time and never tell any of us what you were up to? You just wanted my Jada for your dear sweet companion. God help you,  I ever meet you face to face!! If I find your address I will publish that too! You are a sick sick excuse of a human being!! What did you do with Wolf? Has he even been fed today. yesturday or this week? Why don't you show pictures of what he looks like now because I can guarantee you he looked gorgeous when Rhoda had him. Why don't you tell Rhoda what you did with her dog? What kind of person goes around trying to collect pregant dogs from people and then dumps them after they get their puppies. Did they even whelp them or did you just cut them out with a knife?
