Well, That explains why my gal was civil!!!I mean at 3 months old she jumped infornt of me when a stupid kid postured at her as we walked down the block. No hackles just pure agression. I made sure to socialize the hell out of her. BUT it was always there under the surface!!!

Yes, Luke made a mad dash one day when he was young, as his master opened a door and startled him and woke him up...He didnt even look to see who it was ,came up ready to take on whoever it was......oops my master is here......socialization and obedience must when you have that kind of good protection skill under the dogs wings......

My V5 Tabsi von der Roten Matter, SchH2, was by Visum out of a Mark daughter. She worked quite well. Did not produce well when bred to Lasso, however. (2 dwarves, some hips, so-so drives.) Too bad. They sure were pretty...
Actually, only one of my Lasso pus (three litters) really worked well. Both litters had some pups with no-pass hips. Probab;y had something to do with why they wouldn't work after about 1 yr. old... too painful.

"Serious" means he bites not to play but to harm. "Hard" may mean the dog can easily recover from pain/stress or he doesn't run for cover when challenged ..."
This I've learned the hard way from a good trainer in the country...
My question about Mark haus Beck.???... he did not "Aus" in the protection phase of his Koer... is that a good one ???... or do we expect some OBEDIENCE problems with the bloodline...???

I don't actually know how Mark's bitework was and why he did not out. But there are different reasons a dog does not out and not all are "good":
1) Control issue, just like the "no out" at the Sieger Show!
2) Nerve issues! Yes, that is shocking, but some dogs are purposely not being enforced to out due to nerve issues in the obedience phase, meaning that they fall apart when pressure is used.
Now, these are just two reasons why a dog does not out and has nothing to do with Mark!
