Well okay screenshot allowed proper investigation, and it is true that the pup is bred going back on all-(W)German, quality dogs. Many V rated or above. Almost all with Kkl 1, for instance, which indicates they ARE black & golds, (NOT blues), even where colour isn't actually stated.
Bearing in mind that some of these dogs still do not have photographs or Breed Reports attached to their PDB pedigree pages, they nonetheless have their SV numbers.
One or two of the (mainly) females that ARE pictured seem to show that paling of the sort which I always associate with the presence of Blues in their lineage, but definitely none pictured are Sables IMO.
The tail female part of the pedigree through the vom Kapellenberg dogs seems the weakest; and it is also wherein lies a connection back to that Palme - Quantum/Uran succession that HAS been associated with the production of Blue - on the Black&Gold pattern - animals. So it may well be that this is where Ootyvijay's puppy has aquired its odd colour ?
There are also on record one or two instances of 'silver' puppies which changed to completely 'normal' Black & Golds within a few weeks of birth, though this puppy looks a little dark to be described as 'silver'.
So I'll stick with Blue, and hope the OP remembers to come back and show us some later pictures as his dog matures !

If you really want help, send us a GOOD PHOTO (no video) of pup on a white sheet, and include a separate PHOTO OF PEDIGREE (no video). Others may continue to help you, but until you do this, I am done.

For those of you, who like me, had trouble reading the pedigree, I created a (FAKE) planned litter. You can view the pedigree at

If there's another unneutered male dog anywhere nearby who is black or carries black (dominant black), that would be the more likely explanation for this puppy's coloring. He looks mostly like a seal black--which is a black with brown "highlights" -- and it occurs on dominant black dogs with a modifier gene that causes brown to leak threw, but not like what we see in bleedthrough black (for example, it shows up on newborn pups, it doesn't occur later as the pup matures).
