Dog one jumping back in.
This contest has shown the 600 euro puppy really does not exist as many would have you believe. By the time you find it and get it here, it costs way more than 600 euro.
There is no shortcut. The costs are what they are. You can expect to have between 1,800.00 and 2,000.00 in cost to get an inexpensive puppy imported from Germany. If you reread what I posted, This is just the hard cost. There are many more costs involved if you want something other than a puppy you found from a breeder on your first internet search.
If anyone else has a way to do it for less using reliable and legal services available to the public, speak up. There will be no speakers.
The real question was bought up earlier. Why import unless you are getting the best of the best? The real discussion is getting a good puppy out of Germany.

I'm taking my mother's ashes back to Reichenschwand next year...staying with some German friends, and looking for a puppy while I'm there. :-) Do military discounts count on airfair? LOL
