Thanks, Hodie! You're right, I don't have lots of money sitting around--the dogs get it all! But if Nala can get the surgery done on both her eyes, I will be very happy!

Susan, you have been wonderful to help these people and this dog! I commend you for going more than the extra mile. By all means, any excess should go to you, I would not have a problem with that. My small donation will also be in the mail tomorrow and I will also try when the second surgery is due. Every now and again, I have my faith in mankind restored and this is one of those times. Thanks!

Come on folks, let's help this family remain whole!

Hodie and GSDTravels, you are very, very kind to suggest sending any excess to me to reimburse me for the $600. But I don't want anyone--ever--to have the slightest doubt about how the money is used. So any excess should go to the inevitable extra costs like preop bloodwork, postop meds, and possible complications. If there's any left over after that, the donors can figure out what to do.

I just want this family to be able to keep Nala, and to have Nala be out of pain. Thank you all for your kindness!

I also don't have much as my husband just had back surgery but if $20 helps its what I can do.

$20 adds up very quickly--if five people send $20, that's $100 already. Any amount will help. It all adds up!
