Ah, Sunsilver, you self righteous types never quite get it. I  a woman who is even more of a prude than you are. She doesn't even allow her teenage kids to exclaim, "rats" because the intent is the same as "damn".  Someone comes in to ask a simple question, and before you know it, everyone is jumping all over them, calling them a backyard breeder without knowing the first thing about their history or their dogs. Someone shouldn't have to have a hide like a rhinocerous in order to post here. (sunsilver)

Can you give me an example to illustrate your point?  As far as hiding goes, most people tend to read a message board for awhile before contributing to get the feel for it and the people who frequent it.  I can't think of one example where someone was ridiculed or jumped on, or called names by people who did not know the "history" of the subject or the person or the issue.

I receive some sad news today about the unexpected death of a friend and fellow dog owner. He died due to complications from a rotator cuff repair leaving behind his wife, a son and  14 dogs looking for new homes. Makes me think that life to too short to waste one minute of it arguing over who is right and who is wrong about something that really doesn't matter much in the big picture like should the PDB have a moderator and who is a prude or a whiner. Same on all of us for being so shallow.

If you are talking about people who leave because "bullshit walks", well, I hope they didn't let the door hit them on the ass on the way out.  If you are talking about people like Hodie, you have made incorrect assumptions as to why she left.  So who else that has good knowledge and years of experience has left?

You are correct, there are people who don't frequent this board, but frequent others.  One board cannot be all things to all people.  It seems like your argument now is you don't like what one person says to another and that's really not your call.  Plus now you yourself are using colorful language, isn't that a tad bit hypocritical?
