Echo, I must be having issues counting because I swear your website shows 4 females and 2 males owned or co-owned by you.

I wanna get serious here real quick. What do you know about the lines in your dogs and what they produce? I'm not talking structure really but for work? How do you come to a decision when incorporating a dog into your breeding program?

So, who misinformed you about WVSC's membership? Let me me point out that Sueinc is NOT a member of WVSC. She was simply one of the attendees at the seminar. Frankly, no one in Oregon had ever even spoken to her on the phone, much less actually met her. I only go to WVSC occasionally, as I live in 3.5 houra away in Washington. In fact, I have only been there 2-3 times this year. I am curious, though, if you have a club and are able to train, why are none of your dogs titled? Why do they not even have show ratings? Have you ever attended any club training, any trials, or any shows? N

4 pack you're killing me with these hysterical clippings. LMAO

Don-I never know what to expect to come out of your mouth. Sometimes you say so little but it's always right on point.

I think we should start a thread on who the next Ratpack member will be.  Any nominations???

You know you're with a good shepherd when all you have to do is keep up with them. Don't blame yourself for your dog's issues simply because of lack of socialization, etc. It's hard to picture but you'll know once you have your hands on a real good dog. It all just falls into place...like all that stuff people tell you that you don't understand suddenly makes sense. Like, you don't really need drive "building" wtf.

You can bet that will be the excuse she'll use, but in reality she's just  trying real hard to make up some kind of  BS answers she thinks will sound good in response to the legitimate questions posed here.

Karyn, I am sure you know that WVSC to a member is behind you. You have a group of people who support you and your training. Frankly, there have always been a few dogs in WVSC that I personally would not care to have. And, there are more than a couple members of WVSC who have flatly stated that they would not want my dog, either. :-) I was you in the beginning: I kept my first schutzhund dog, a nice bitch puppy, damn near isolated for 4 months, because I was scared to death of her getting parvo (she was a replacement for a puppy that died of Parvo 2 weeks after I picked it up. I kept that puppy isolated until she was 4.5 months old. When I finally did take her to club, she actully yelped and ducked behind me when a person with a puppy came up to us. But, BIG but, her genetics were good, so 10 minutes later she was terrorizing the other puppies and displaying a very headstrong, stubborn confidence. I did do LOTS of socializing her thereafter. She went everywhere with me, including into mals, department stores, elevators, escalators, etc. Fortunately, the genetics were there. Even had they not been, I still would have loved that pain-in-the-ass bitch anyway. My last American-line gsd was what drove me to German lines. She was beyond being merely a sh____r: shy, dog-aggressive, oversized, Bird of Prey eyes, fallen pasterns, pancreatic insufficiency and seizures. Despite that, I loved that dog to death and STILL think about her, 17 years after she crossed to the Rainbow Bridge. Love your dog, have fun with her, make sure she has a great life and learn together. Ya know, schutzhund and titles and drives and points and all that other stuff means absolutely NOTHING to the dogs. They just want to be with us-period. Pack drive, in the end, is the only thing that is equally important to both us AND our dogs. JMHO Nia PS Have fun at the seminar this weekend.
