And I imagine she was more careful with her dog than the breeder was!

my pregnant min pins belly is very hard, she has been clingy this morning, she won't eat, has been very sleepy today and has discharge. Is she going into labor? Should I put her in her whelping box? Right now she is in her bed under my chair as i work.

Put the bed in a closet and put the whelping box in its place or she will have them in HER bed not that other place.
You will see her start to push that is the Real labor, before that she will have many small muscle tightenings this go for several hours.

Ok, so she is going into labor?

I don't know I can't see her. What do you see, is she having muscle contractions, even small ones like she is stretching in her sleep.
The thing is she will want to have them in the most comfortable safe spot you need to make sure that it is the whelping box, thus remove her bed.

I have one female that wanted me near by. Now there was no way to move her whelping box around nor could I stay with her 24-30 hours.
I let her start heavy labor then we moved to her box and I stayed with her.
Many ways and ideas. Some mothers want to be alone in a dark safe spot, some like to dig a hole and really hide.

Her tummy keeps getting tense and then it relaxes.

Good I would call that the first stages of labor.

SUPER important question- what color is the discharge? If clear, or like her water broke, super- you're in labor! If green or bloody, get to a vet NOW. What you're describing are contractions but you should see puppies shortly after contractions start (hard contractions that you can see, anyway). I don't want to write a bunch you won't understand in a time when every minute counts, but please answer about the discharge.

The discharge is clear. She has not started going into stage 2 labor yet but I think she will tonight.

Now, if you have researched a lot since you posted and now you are pretty sure those movements were puppies moving, then the clear discharge is mucus plug and you might have another day or two. But, again, if I were a novice at this, I'd be careful. Feel free to post a video of her, CLEAR and bright, showing her behavior (panting, etc.) and her belly.

If you are really sure that is the date then yes a Vet is needed. When he did the ultra sound before did the Vet give you an approx due date.
