joanro,
Maybe I should have added to my sentence "in any given situation".
by mklevin on 20 October 2014 - 17:10
LOL joan I found that out when you talked about all the concessions you have to make to the dog in just his everyday life. Like the times when you walk up to his kennel and you won'l let him out because of how he's acting.
by joanro on 20 October 2014 - 18:10
The dog doesn't even live in the kennel, never has. He lives in the house with me. I don't make any concessions "to the dog in just everyday life." There are zero "times when you { I } walk up to his kennel..." You sure are a fabricator. Tell us, Matt, what is it about other's dogs that you get so worked up you need to make up crap like this? Now I understand you a bit better....I was correct in my assessment of you the first time and giving you benefit of the doubt, apologizing to you was a mistake. So I take back my apology to you...you really are counterfeit.

yeah someone here is fake all right. I spose you also didn't suggest for a dog aggressive dog to go for a BH wearing a muzzle either....
Clearly you are the authority on dogs. So tell us all Joan why you couldn't sell that dog
by joanro on 20 October 2014 - 18:10
As for the muzzle and BH; muzzle is not equipment used on the trial field for sch or ipo. What's your point, Matt? I've trained from pups, and sch titled, three dogs. You trying to create another inacuate picture? So, Matt, how about answering the questions to you in above post, and what do you care about a dog I own ? He lives here with me in the house, goes to town riding in the back seat of the truck, walks around with me in the feed store. Runs loose with me through the woods when I feed the horses, and I'm driving the side by side. We take walks to the creek and he has a blast running through the water, splashing and having a celebration of how great life is. Enjoys training when the decoy has time t make the two hour drive here. So is that the best you can do? Make up crap about my dog because you don't like Me? Goodnesss. Matt, maybe you need someone to pay attention to you.

TP, time to stop making shit up, show me the oldest knpv gsd kennel you got in holland and post peds of their brood stock, lets see how far back you go until the ped looks just like any other high sport dog ped.
there is no such thing as a knpv gsd the way you are trying to frame it, there is no genetically seperate line, special phenotype....
as i said a middle schooler who has never seen a real dog can prove.

LOL nice try a difference without a distinction. You couldn't sell him even though you sold the rest of the litter.
Your trying to convince everyone what IPO is and isn't and you don't have a clue. Trying to tell someone to trial a dog aggressive dog with a muzzle on for their BH is ludicrous to ANYONE who understands the purpose of the title.
Yes all your vast IPO experience and you have no clue what is contained in a scorebook.
Quote from Joan regarding scorebooks.
Yes, but how many score books does one get to see? You are talking about buying a dog. The scores are not included in the title, neither are the clubs where the trial is held, and for that matter,if a score book is published and only one title, how is one to know if it was done on home club. I bet 99% of dogs titled are done at home club, and helper. Like I said, a sch trial does not test or indicate hardness in a dog.

And as for this; " LOL nice try a difference without a distinction. You couldn't sell him even though you sold the rest of the litter." Even though you are making up things because you don't have a thread of honesty in your character, I will address this lie; I raised that entire litter till they were two years old. I did preliminary hips/elbows when they were one year , and then ofa certification when they were two. Then I placed all but three in homes.....the other three I still own.
What is it with you,Matt? Are you loosing the sparkle in your star when others are capable of training and titling their dogs, who do it for the experience and because their dogs enjoyed it and because the person is capable without going or you for approval? I've never seen anyone as bitter as you because some else succeeded in training and titling their dogs, that you are not special or distinctive because you supposedly titled and competed. Sch is not an insurmountable accomplishment for an animal trainer...sorry to burst your bubble.

schuts is great and i admire those that do it, but let's be honest, there is a social filter in play for those that are per chance in at a point in their life where they have had exposure, access, time, money, desire, resources, a lot of help and a bit of luck.
some of the shuts achievers a like the newly rich that always ready to break out a lecture on thrift, hard work, positive thinking, persistence and their new boat - those people make my brain cells want abort themselves to escape. i do my best not to get cornered and molested by such people.
just sayin.
