Agree, Keith. It is quite puzzling. I find the obsession about USCA by boo boo and others who barely even have a dog to be very disturbing, to the point that I actually have concerns about whether they need professional help.

@MystereCould be sentences like this in your nasty posts : " I also DO SAY they are a 501(c)3 and not a 501(c)7, don't know why you can't seem to read & comprehend what I wrote." ( ( Emphasis added) See? I read and comprehend quite well. Perhaps it is the misstatements of the writer that is an issue?
Umm...OK...I have a typo in ONE of my posts responding to you about the tax status of USCA and WDA. Its TYPO, I made a typing error. Address the substance of the points I made, not the fluff.
Also what do you mean by "barely have a dog"? There are other venues besides the "bite-work" oriented venues, which are just as relevant.

To recount the facts again for you, its obvious I made a typo in ONE of the sentences in my paragraph becuase within the same post I write "What part of "the WDA and USCA are 501(c)7 organizations", did you NOT understand".
A typo, is a typo, is a typo!
I have recounted what is on thier 990 tax forms and I have provided weblinks, which anyone can look at to confirm. I have an opinion on why they were filled out a certain way and that opinion is certainly debatable, but what is noted in those 990 forms is not speculation, it is fact.
You are still addressing the fluff and not the substance of the points I made. Typical Straw man, you can't hide your motive, no matter how hard you try.
I'll requote my error here in yellow and the correct terminology in the same paragraph in light blue:
@Mystere, I was reading what USCA stated on thier 990 statement. I didn't say that USCA does not have volunteers, I said they they claimed to NOT HAVE ANY on thier 990 statement submitted to the IRS. I also DO SAY they are a 501(c)3 and not a 501(c)7, don't know why you can't seem to read & comprehend what I wrote. What part of "the WDA and USCA are 501(c)7 organizations", did you NOT understand in my post? However, to CLARIFY AGAIN, my pint was that USCA claims to NOT have any non-tax deductable "donations" given to the organization AT ANY TIME in 2011. What that means is if a "member" writes them a check to buy some soda for a trial and does not expect to be reimbursed for that "soda money", USCA needs to report it as a non-tax dedcutable donation in thier 990, doesn't matter if they are a 501(c)3 or 501(c)7. Pretty simple to read and understand what I wrote above. Seems like you are attempting to "muddy the waters" on my recounting of what is documented on their IRS documentation.
I stiil don't know what you mean by "barely have a dog"? There are other venues besides the "bite-work" oriented ones, which are just as relevant.

Clearly, the GSDCA-WDA is a Section 501 (c) (7) corporation exempt from Federal Income Tax. For verification read " Article I, Section 4." of the "By-Laws of The German Shepherd Dog Club of America-Working Dog Association, Inc.",
