You make an excellent point that we will never get through to anyone with mental and/or emotional problems that informs their "world view" and view of reality. That has certainly been my experience, and I have come into contact with many mentally unstable (or clearly insane) people. However, the fact that the thread might have "enlightened" even a few newbies makes it worthwhile. Hell, it was worthwhile that it enlightened those of us who are not so new!
For example, I had no clue whatsoever that DDR-DSH was Janice Bartmess. I also had no clue about the history, until Hodie posted it, although the name was familiar (and still is) for reasons I cannot remember.
So, there was and is a value in that thread...although it did go on and on and on and on... It might not have, had Janice just folded her tent quietly.

I am very much against abuse to animals and with all that is going on with this Janice Bartmess I guess in 8 days it did not take long to get to this many posts. Again when the playing field is level and we know all users real names then you can question my desire to remain hidden. Until then go argue with someone else.
Damn right I am pissed and if I want to use large letters really what does that matter. I am going to tell you like I have heard you say to others if you dont like my posts dont read them.

I have sat back because this is not the first time DDR has been called out on this board. It happened a few years back, and after that she slunk off and disapeared for a while. Guess she was hoping no one would remember and she could rewrite history. She blames everyone else and accepts no blame herself. She calls everyone on this board an AR sympathizer, and even had the nerve to disrespect Oli on that thread. Then she starts a thread with veiled threats to report someone for "cyber stalking". Riiiiight, a PROVEN animal abuser wants to redirect and make this about everyone and everything else. Please! What a loser.
To those who think everyone is being too hard on DDR.....wow. As far as I am concerned someone cannot change what they refuse to acknowledge. As long as DDR pretends she has no accountability for what happened to those poor dogs, I am scared for any animal that has the bad luck to be in her possession. We will not let her sweep this under the rug, or make stupid bullshit excuses or blame everyone else. No one asked her to lie. No one asked her to try to make this about the animal lovers of this board. No one forced her to accuse people on this board of being HSUS sympathizers because they found what she did to those dogs to be morally reprehensible. She is getting treated exactly as she is asking to be treated.
DDR it's over, cat's out of the bag (again). Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

I could not recommend this site AT ALL right now with all this treading bashing, If my buyers and friends and other breeder friends seen all this bashing they would NEVER use this site at all. What if the advertisers on this site found out and withdrew there contract that supports this site ? Anyone calling Progressive ( who I see now ) ? The more complaints the more likely it will happen and this whole database could collapse. Please be nice - PM others with your little personal vendettas.. better yet if your such good friends take it to personal emails.

This is so true. All anyone had to do was post the Abuse item showing the facts. That's all it took for me, a newbie to realize what was going on and retract anything positive I had said. I did not need 8 pages of reacting to that person's pathetic attempts to rationalize. Who would? Sometimes a "whisper" is more powerful than a shout; just ignoring that person's ranting would have been much more appropriate, and then the thread could have stayed up, for educational purposes.
I for one appreciate very much those who pointed out this person's criminal activities. I do not appreciate "forum rats" who drag forums down with non stop negativity and personal attacks. Lively debate is one thing, "I know I am but what are you?" over and over is quite another.

Well said Nocurs. What is even sadder, see the advertisement in the top left for GSD World? All these immature forum rats and drama queens(kings) are just killing this board and losing Oli money.
Best thing that could happen for this site would be for them to LEAVE.
