Don't worry Blitz, the vote proved that the nasty comments posted by some people here DO NOT represent the sentiments of the OVERWHELMING majority of Americans - thank goodness!!!

Over $5 Billion was spent on this campaign. Both raised & amassed 'war chests.'
Obama is just another Corporate Sponsored Candidate. Nothing will change for the better.

Tess you show your lack of common sense to think that speech [the God-damn America speech] was only made once... THAT is laughable and explains his ellection to a point... Stupid is a s stupid does.
Yep, only once. You would've seen the video if it had been more than once.
As was said by BOTH McCain and Obama last night, the divisive days have passed, and now Obama is president for ALL of us. I know it's hard for many to stop name-calling and hating, but your own candidate does not wish it.

LOL, you sore losers are just hilarious albeit pathetic. McCain had the same opportunities to win this election as did Obama; the same opportunities to raise money; the same opportunities to present his platform to the voting public. He lost for 3 reasons- Bush, Palin, and his refusal to be true to himself by listening to a campaign staff that should have been shit canned after his first rally. Had he distanced himself from Bush way before the election and educated himself on the country's financial situation, got in the trenchs to see what middle class America needs, picked a credible running mate, and simply have been the real John McCain, he'd most likely be the new President. He'd have had my vote.
Don't blame Obama and the democrats for McCain's and the party's failings. Being smarter than your competition is not a felony or a moral sin. The republicans screwed it up all on their own with no help whatsoever from the democrats.
Get over it, suck it up, and act like like adult Americans.

I suggest you go to your doctor (if you have insurance!) and ask him for a very strong medication Uglydog.
Come down...breathe by the nose...and try to feel safe within yourself...
You live in so much fear and hatred I can't imagine being in your shoes for a day!! You will get an ulcer by being so stressed out.
Don't worry..nobody is going to take your guns away...cause it looks like it's the ony important thing to you...
I just hope a freak like you doesn't decide to kill your new president..AGAIN!!

Maybe Obama can find me a job. I haven't done very well on my own. I got laid off in Aug. '07, first time ever. Say good-bye to the $70K/ yr. job... Every time I've been hired since it seems the company closes its doors forever within 3 weeks. Maybe its me, "Kiss of Death?" but how much damage can one Account Exec do while still in the company training program? Its been nearly a year since I found the last 2 week job (which only paid about 1/2 of the one before) . Every advertising interest around here is going to "interns" and "apprentices." (read: free labor) by necessity. Maybe Obama will reinstate the unemployment that ran out in Feb of '07?
Husband has been laid off work three times in two and a half years ago, (NEVER in the prior 20 yrs.) avg: 5.5 months at a time. I would have been worried about tax increases for families making over $100K annually 3 yrs. ago. Now all I have to worry about is the basic necessities and feeding my 4 dogs. Let's see Obama fix THAT.
