Oh, and by the way, the Democrat candidate's MIDDLE NAME is "Hussein".  Why do democrats go bonkers just because someone calls him by his name?

Come, come, Mickey. We all know why some of the right-wing fringe use Obama's middle name. It is to associate him with Islam. It goes with other innuendo that Obama is, in fact, a Muslim and that he associates with terrorists and so on. Let's  face it, being a Muslim or having a close association with Muslims - no matter how moderate their viewpoint - is not a plus for someone running for office in the US, especially in today's environment.

The use of other individual's middle names may be done in jest - to make fun of them or in other cases because they were known by their initials eg JFK, LBJ. Obama has never been known as BHO

Most people would not even know the middle names of most presidents if it were not part of common usage - that is not saying much because if you ever watch jay-walking on Jay Leno, some people don't have even a rudimentary general knowledge of what is going on in the country.

The elephants are far more adept at spreading hate.  How many schools have been spray-painted with "if McCain wins the KKK will blow up this school"?  At how many Obama rallies have people screamed about McCain "kill him"?  How many people has the FBI investigated for threatening to behead McCain and 14 other white guys?  No contest.

Secret Service agents at McCain's rally have said they heard no such calls.  And, citizens have had their property spray-painted and defaced for the "crime" of having McCain/Palin signs in their yards.

There are asshats on both sides, and I'll give you the mouthbreathers in Tennessee who wanted to kill, what was it, 14 students at a predominantly black school?  But, did you see their photos?  Do you honestly believe they are members of the Republican party, or even registered to vote?  Come on.  

Who, along with Lyndon Johnson, pushed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 through?  I'll give you a little hint - it wasn't democrats.  And, what party did that guy Lincoln belong to, again?
