Republican Voter Registration Chief Arrested for Fraud in California
"According to The Los Angeles Times, Jacoby's firm was paid $7 to $12 by the CRP for each GOP voter registration signature, but dozens of voters who signed on said they were duped into registering as Republicans and thought they were signing a petition to toughen penalties against child molesters."

So much for all the outcry about alleged Acorn fraudulent registration.

The libs and Democrats are good ones to talk about repeating a lie. They make a living off of it.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Joseph Goebbels
Reich Propaganda Ministry
Take for example their constant blaming of the housing crisis on the Republicans, because as some of you have stated, the Republicans were in office at the time. Many Republicans, including John McCain, warned of the problem way before it came to present. And who denied it and worked against it being fixed? The Democrats! Including your socialist savior Obama, who received something like 46 or 47 times more money from groups like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae than any other politician in history.
It's as if there was a fire, and the Fire Dept said "it's small now, let us do something" and the Democrats said no....not yet....and then when the house burns down they say "The Fire Dept should have done something."
Let's not forget also, that these very institutions were supported by the mental sickness of the past Democrats own socialist views. These institutions were created and pushed by Democrats wanting people who did not qualify for homes to get them....against banks objections.....and "backed" by the US gov't. Well, the Dem's thought this people would be responsible for the things given to them. Given, not earned. And they weren't. All of this resulted in the housing market meltdown we're seeing now. The idea and the operation of it all was socialist in nature, a "spread the wealth" type attitude. So they were warned not to do it, and did anyway. They were then warned something needed to be done, and did everything they could to stop anything being done. And then when it blows up in their face.....they point a finger and tell a lie.
"It was the Republicans and George Bush!"
And Hodie.....your little socialist indoctrination camp sounds like it's running well with those kids. Why let kids be kids and play and have fun? When you can organize children and have them argue about politics for the amusement of Socialist Comrade Hodie? Gosh, it sounds awesome!

Tess, I am giving up now. Just trying to illustrate how very easy it is find dirt on anyone running for a public office. I didn't even look at any websites generated by the radical fringe who banter around racist remarks and ugly talk intended to incite people into doing harm to others. It's not only a matter of not believing anything, it's believing everything we read on the net without doing any sort of research that a normal person would feel necessary. Some wallow in believing the worst of anyone who they don't like for whatever reason. I'm not fan of McCain's anymore, but no way do I believe that he was associated in a criminal way with any of the convicted felons and racists I listed above. It's just insane to blindly accept crap like that as gospel. When crowds gather and the candidates for President and VP fire them up to the point that we hear - terrorist, kill him, off with his head, he's an A-rab - then I think it's time to reevaluate these candidates' moral character and judgement as well as that of those who particate in this very dangerous behavior. Are these really the sort of people we want to put in the White House?
You can't even have a decent discussion on this board without some being disrespecful of anyone who doesn't want to be a part of their hate campaign. The lunatic fringe is alive and well right here on the PDB.

Seriuosly, couldn't you have disagreed with Hodie in a respectful way ? Socialist indoctrination camp?

Hilarious!
On this very thread.....Blitzen....you've made stereotypical jokes about rednecks and their rifle racks and confederate flags.
You've referred to some of us as the true definition of insanity. Or having sheets over our heads.
You have tried to make an inferrence to Republicans as being the ones in your little KKK neighborhood with the truck testicles.......have you asked those people what they belong to? Or did you just assume since you perceived them to be ignorant that they must be hilljack Republicans? You were so proud to spout how different you were from them; how you were a republican that could see through the half truths.
And then you complain when it is handed back to you and yours? Awwww.....poor baby. Maybe you should get with Hodies political prisoners and have them debate how cool you really are and why no one else sees it but you!

Some of RPK's Obama quotes are WHY I'm voting for him. Ever since Nixon the flag pin has been worn most predominately by those who PRETENDED to patriotism while in reality doing horrible things to this country. He's been honest in his other remarks, and as I've said on another thread, "Hussein" is a very common name in Africa. It means "handsome one." Who couldn't see a loving mother bestowing that name on a beloved child who has an African father.
The hatred some of you have for this man because he is part-African is astounding.
And as Jon Stewart says, people HATE him because "he likes a bitter lettuce????" but have no problem with McCain not even knowing how many homes he owns!

There is a quote that I apply everyday in my work...
If you want the people who work for you to fly like eagles then hire eagles... 'cos if you hire turkeys... no matter how much training you give them... at the end of the day all you'll get is a lot of flap--flap and gobble gobble... AND SARAH PALIN ... YOU ARE NO EAGLE!!
I'd rather soar with the OBAMA-BIDEN ticket than Flap on 1 broken wing with McCain-Palin!!

Was I talking to or about you, Seriously? My opinions were not directed specifically at any one person or persons here. Also, I never said or suggested that all red necks are Rebuplicans. I am a registered Republican. Most rednecks I see around here aren't even registered or have any plans to vote, never have. They don't even know who is running or their platforms, all they know or care about is the color of their skin. Guess how many locals still think that Obama was born in Africa and is not a natural born citizen? You can talk til you're blue in the face and they still insist they are right.
Did I say YOU or anyone else here flies the Confederate flag or has testicles hanging from their traler hitch? While you, on the other hand, constantly belittle and attempt to bully almost everyone on this BD who doesn't share your take on everything, Why can't you ever just disagree with the premise and not get so personal with you responses?
If you don't live in one of those KKK neighborhoods like I do, if you've never seen a cross burned on a front porch, fly that flag, have testicles hanging on your truck, a flag on the rear window. If you don't get loaded every Saturday night and then go home to take care of the old lady and pray for forgiveness on Sunday, and if the only sheets you own are on your bed, then nothing I have said here even applies to you, does it? On the other hand, if the shoe fits, wear it

One will never change the minds of anyone here, whether it be about politics or someone wanting information about some GSD related problem. This forum is, however, a mirror of the deep division that exists in our country and the world. It is an example of "ignorance is bliss" and the fact that so many cannot understand the philosophical, ethical and real issues that we all face. Without understanding, there can be no hope of solving the problems that we face.
It is, in part, just because of such a deep division, where people cannot discuss issues intelligently, that our country probably really is headed in the wrong direction. There is almost no common ground anymore. No one person will stem this swelling tide of ignorance and divisiveness. It certainly will not be any President, be it McCain or Obama. It must come from each of us and that is not going to happen.
As for seriously....you have to be kidding.... I find it humorous that you find fault in a household where children do come first in so many important ways. And you cannot appreciate that here are two adults with vastly different experiences in life, different political views and differing views on religion who do all they can to see that the children will be prepared to go on in their life and contribute. It is not just our two viewpoints that are presented, but as many as possible. Then, imagine this, the children are asked to discuss the merits and drawbacks of ALL sides....not to form any opinion. It is hardly indoctrination except to teach a "work ethic" and not be lazy as some here clearly are.
It would be interesting to know what you have done in your life for anyone except yourself?
by seriously on 20 October 2008 - 14:10
Blizen.....no need to repeat yourself. I only pointed to your use of stereotypes (you denounce them in others) and your own hypocrisy.
Hodie....You won't convince me that you don't oversee these arguments and debates that you create and moderate them in your direction. If they started a conversation on their own, then that is good. But they didn't. They were pulled away from the things kids do to do this under your will. And I'm sure you added your two cents here and there and when it was all done made them feel ignorant if they didn't agree with your liberal ways. And that, is not good parental responsibility.
Don't think that just because you guys live on this computer and speak more often than others that you speak for everybody.
