Cyber harassment - my view - Page 8

I only heard a while back that he had been having some health problems sometime in the past.
He hasn't posted in a good while.

I just wanted to jump in a say hi to so many I have not seen here in so long, You have been so missed. I even miss the old squabbles. I hope all of you have been well.

     I also posted the cyber harrassment laws. In NY I have had a hard time getting anyone to enforce them. I have been slammed and harrassed on this board (which happensto be the only one I participate in). I have TRIED to keep a civil tounge, I am sorry  that I do come unglued sometimes.
    I HAVE NEVER set out to offend anyone. Yes, after a few drinks sometimes, I can't contain my remarks, BUT they only come out after either my dogs or kids have been verbally assaulted. I have apologized to those I have done this too. IF NOT, I do now!!
     I really almost came very close to seriously hurting someone that verbally and mentaly abused me on the board. I HAD to seek help to keep me from doing it. You can believe I won't tolerate it the net time around (which is quiclky approaching).
    I am very grateful to OLI for removing the last toxic remarks made about me, my son and my dog. It isn't a matter of " if you can't take the heat, stay out of the fire"!
      I can debate my stand on things ALL DAY LONG! I am totally aware that everyone don't agree with me. I NEVER expected that.
   I come here to LEARN, and I have learned, and I have made friends with several knowledgable people here. I believe it is "thanks to this board" I have found Shelley, which in turn credits my dog, and the German Shepherd breed in General.
    You can't learn this stuff just from reading, you gotta get out there, and get in it. Which is exactly what I plan to do.

Funny, I only seem to get really ANGRY when I am defending someone ELSE on this board. Auntie Shelley can take quite a bit of abuse, but try to harm her novices?
Uh-uh.

I still believe good will triumph over evil. I just wish it would happen more in MY lifetime and I could be there to see it!

BE4U I am so glad you brought this up and Two Moons thanks for the info on Preston.  He has been a good friend to me, and I have missed him on this board.  I hope he comes back soon.

I don't post too much anymore....having some health issues of my own; but I scan the board every day looking for some of the 'old' crowd. GSDfan, Preston, & so many others....even the nuts are missed. I, too, heard from a source that Preston was OK, thankfully. I miss his political opinions & prophesies, ( wasn't he right on about the economy? ).  And their collective wisdom about our dogs made this board a wonderful resource. Even our Texas Angel Yellowrose has faded away.....sigh.........jackie harris
