You left out the best part...the raw chicken bones. Nothing better for white healthy teeth.
That poor tied-up dog got to starve and thirst while looking at some idiot throwing food inside at him through a window where he couldn't reach it. Not just stupid, but torture!

Someone might want to remind the original owner that they could be charged with neglect for failing to ensure the dog was receiving adequate care...

The original owner has one up on them because when she called both counties AC turned her away. The first one said they had a space prob, and the other one said they had a parvo outbreak.
Surprisingly, its the " parvo outbreak " people who came and did what they did. Now the officer from the " parvo people " went straight to the hosp to " beg " the original chance not to make a report to the superiors.
So she feels like she is in the driver's seat.

She really needs to do whatever is in the dog's best interest.

She has admitted to me that she knows she can no longer take care of the dog, but she felt mistreated the manner in which the dog was acquired by the rescue org.
She is pissed off that they are raising money for the dog, when the dog has not even been signed over.
