Police Body Cam Video K9 bites suspect in face ............... - Page 7

It appears the dog went for the most obvious body part, which was the face.

 

If I am sitting on a sofa with my legs outstretched in front of me, the nearest

and most obvious body part in front of a dog sent to bite me from in front

IS NOT my face !    Dog could just have easily gone for a leg.  He couldn't

really target an arm, as they were both in the air, at the time.

Another wonderful story about a K9 officer who killed a 19 year old and then planted evidence on him (drugs) .. claimed the kid was driving a car at him but the kid was shot in the back and the side.  After the kid was dead the murdering cop drug the 19 year old man's body out of his car and planted evidence .. then another cop testified that officer K9 held the dead mans body up and gave his dead hand a high five.  The dirty cop reported there was cocanine found on the dead mans body (white powder).  Wonder what the dirty cop got out of his car and planted on the dead man's body??  Dash cams and body cams must be turned on and used or the cops must be fired.  A cop in Charlotte NC shot an unarmed man 12 times but he had cut off his dash cam.

What was observed on the video was disturbing. If this occurred in the state I reside, the K9 handler would be put before a Grand Jury. The suspect would also have a law suit. Now I can only comment on what was on the video. I did not see what preceeded the recording. I saw a compliant suspect who appeared to be obeying police commands. Biting in the face? Complete no no where I live. The K9 program would be dismantled because of what this dog was allowed to do. The dog biting the suspect while being handcuffed a big no no in my state as well. You use the force needed to control the suspect. The suspect did not appear to be combative while being handcuffed. This is an excellent example of how NOT to deploy a canine during an apprehension. Not a cop hater. Recently retired detective in the northeast.
