UScA is pissing the WUSV off
I'm wondering who is really done in the long run.........
Really, the WDA doesn't have anything unless the GSDCA is involved in it. You think a few hundred members are going to take over representation of the GSD in this country? The GSDCA is the WUSV member.

Exempt Purposes - Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3)
"The exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3) are charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, and preventing cruelty to children or animals. The term charitable is used in its generally accepted legal sense and includes relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency"
Exempt purposes - Code section 501(c)(7)
A social club must be organized for pleasure, recreation, and other similar purposes. A club will not be recognized as tax exempt if its charter, by laws, or other governing instrument, or any written policy statement provides for discrimination against any person based on race, color, or religion. A club may, however, in good faith limit its membership to members of a particular religion in order to further the teachings or principles of that religion and not to exclude individuals of a particular race or color.
Whether an organization's purposes are consistent with exemption under section 501(c)(7) is generally determined based on its organizing documents.

This has occurred already in Japan. The traditional WUSV member was the JSV whose membership is 1,500. They were members of the WUSV since 1974. All the rights of this organization was transferred to the new 50 member WUSV club SVJ.
The letter from the President of the JSV outlining the situation and their removal from the WUSV can be found at this link:

From what I have read, Mr. Yamada is behind the new SVJ and all approvals for judges etc. must go through the 50 member organization. There is more on Jantie's site regarding the interpersonal relationships of Mr. Henke, Mr. Lux and Mr. Yamada and that Atos Agrigento just went VA1 at the Japanese Siegershow and owned by Mr. Yamada.

I believe both the USCA and the GSDCA have much more in common as a result of the recent events than one would think.
So sadly, Schznd, I question your assumption.

What I pointed out was that WDA noted on thier 990 form, as REQUIRED BY LAW, that they DID in fact accept over $100,000 in non-taxable donations from members, other sources, etc. WDA also stated that they used the labor of roughy 150 volunteers on thier 990 form, as REQUIRED BY LAW.
In contrast USCA, the larger organization, both in terms of revenue and "number of fee paying, non-voting, members", claimed on thier 990 form that THEY DID NOT accept donations totaling over $100,000, during the course of the year. Second they also stated on thier 990 form that they had NO VOLUNTEERS that year either.
I personally feel that such would be an IMPOSSIBLE claim for USCA to make due to thier size. Meaning they certainly used volunteer labor at some point and they certainly have recieved both free things & donated money to run trials, etc. HOWEVER, they did not report information on thier 990 reflecting such. Thats thier right to do so, but I have a very difficult time believing that claim.

Also by educating people on husbandry, training and handling, wouldn't that also lesson burdens of government (Animal Welfare Act)?
Any accountants out that that can answer this?

Also for a good laugh, here is USCA mission on file with the IRS, its literally one sentence. If they went 501(c)3 they'd have to make it a bit longer and more detailed:
TO PRESERVE THE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG AS A WORKING DOG
Here is WDA's:

Could be sentences like this in your nasty posts : " I also DO SAY they are a 501(c)3 and not a 501(c)7, don't know why you can't seem to read & comprehend what I wrote." ( ( Emphasis added) See? I read and comprehend quite well. Perhaps it is the misstatements of the writer that is an issue?
