I have to say that, overall, the dogs are better off where they are right now than in shit-filled crates or 5x5 kennels.. Still, I hope that those who own or co-own dogs who were in that seizure are able to get their dogs back.

Why didn't I think of that? I still can! Some how I just won't. The thought of running urine and feces has a way of stopping me.

And yeah, for some people 3 dogs *is* too much. For others, it's easy.

All those other considerations are just a line up to the pay off. This makes me sick. I really have always had the most respect for you Blackthorne, your genetic knowledge, etc, but to condone the stacking of TOP dogs with enabling excuses, is just a travesty for the dogs. That is all.
Take care of the dogs. Let it be a lesson to those who send their dogs away ... !
And really, since when does a European dog need an American dog to make them a name or money? This whole thing stinks to high heaven. I think each side just might deserve each other. Let the lawyers go at it. I can't wait to watch this from the sidelines.

Or what if things *are* great at the time the lease is made? What if they came and checked her out and visited and the conditions were excellent 4 or 5 months ago? And then something happens--health issues, job issues, personal issues--and then all too quickly, things *aren't* OK, and the person getting overwhelmed doesn't seek out help. How is that negligence or lack of caring on the part of those who are 1000+ miles away? We *do not know* what happened here.
