I know this is an old thread, but I was researching some ring sport and I found this thread...
In the UK we're a bit limited with European ring sport opportunities. However, in between service dog type competitions - the ringsport style trianing is a good way to increase your dog's fight drive and bite development.

This video shows my 2 year old GSD bitch doing some upper suit biting, following a normal long chase.
Goes to show that there's still GSDs out there that can give the Malinois a run for their money;
