I'm not trying to stir any trouble here, but really there's a lot to think about.

The DVG people I have talked to seem really fun. I'd really like to get back to having fun with my dogs. Pretty simple, really.

Clubs can work there way around this as they have in the past. as far as members switching to WDA and leaving USA if the whole club switches no problem if some members do and some don,t and that creates a problem well the club wasnt that tight in the first place. No political agenda will effect the training of my dogs and it should not yours either.

I dunno. Seems like a real kettle of fish here.
The club secty didn't get any answers because they're out of the office, but someone told her that other breeds CAN join USA.
Bob, my training won't be affected, but I'll be paying guest rates instead of member fees. Interestingly, the extra money will be going to the CLUB and not UScA, which I guess means UScA cut off their nose to spite their face.

The SV is a German organization, not an American organization. People aren't surprised that a German organization is dictatorial; Americans do object to an American organization bringing in German methods to an American organization.

But it,s still a valid and intresting question. Since in the end it is all about the dog and not the politics, am I mistaken?

This has nothing to do with the present conversation but wasn't the UScA originally formed precisely to bring in German methods for proving, trialing, breed surveying and documenting our dogs?
Rhetorical questions aside, it is a misnomer to suggest that the situation between the SV and RS2000 is a "German method."
