And PS,

Sounds like a major socialization issue,as well just a little need to desensitize her. When I trained with Sandra we would take the dogs everywhere, and expose them to ALL that we could, home depot, stores period, but two things we did that made a huge difference were taking the dog to parks. We would find soccer games, baseball games where people were jumping up,down, yelling, laughing, and you would so very shocked at how this helps. If you are capable walk her in a median where there is traffic too. We would walk them beside Railraod tracks whe a train was coming and so forth. Any scenario is Airports, the trolleys, trains etc. We were lucky that the "PR" people at America Airlines at DFW would call us when they had MANY empty flights and we woulfd fly for free to all kinds of places in the USA. Hope this helps,ut e sure to sign up for Ricks group too!

Jerry

Wow someone else who knows about SASS... They are state recognized from what I understand... Even though they are a small group.  If anyone is interested in finding out more about them  you can go here.  They have a forum there also.
