I have to say when I first started dating my husband I told him, I am an animal person, to some a downfall... lol But 14 1/2 yrs later he is still with me, my 5 dogs, 3 horses, 6 chickens & 1 Umbrella Cockatoo! lol I will be adding another pup in a couple of weeks and he says, "hey, it's your thing!" lol Now it is at times difficult for him when I bring them all in because it is too hot, or too cold... He seems to think the only one that should be in is our older boy. He bitches about the dog hair, and the food bill at times but, he truly knows it is my passion... I tell everyone, I have my animals and he has his vehicles... But I know I probably pay more in the long run on the animals. He likes to sometimes go to training with me, but he works out of town alot and it is hard. He tries to make the dogs listen to him, but they just ignore him and won't remove their eyes from me! But hey he tries...

My other half loves the dogs. Was never into GSD until I waltzed into his life. Now he loves them. But, he loves them as pets.
I do all the training, and I wish he would try it out one of these days, but he just doesn't LOVE it like I do...and in order to train, dedication must be there.
He supports me, and will definitely help with dog stuff. He does tell me, no more dogs, but if I were to bring one home, I don't think he could say no to me...Oh the power of a woman!!!
I have Schutzhund, and I allow him to sit on the couch and play video games for hours :o) it works!

Raymond, I am with ya on the get rid of them.....
We are all not as fortunate like Robin, although I am trying to find a way to clone Carlos.
As for my ex, hence the reason he is an ex, he is worse then the ones involved and telling ya what to do, and worse then the one that tells ya they want nothing to do with it. At least ya know where ya stand with those types.
He is the big talker, dreamer yada yada ya....he wants to do all that and watch you do the work, oh wait and then repeat the benefits or steal your sunshine and tell everyone how he did it..LMAO

Same in my house my hubbie goes to the shows with me under protest may i add (to support me) as it's my hobbie. But know exactly how you feel AgarPhranicniStraze1 I wish he was more into the dogs more so when it comes to training.Oh well we can wish lol.
