Ex in new mexico

by Ex in new mexico on 17 January 2009 - 16:01

Mid twenties overnight and high forties in the day time. It's been above average for the time of year here in New Mexico... Love those clear blue skies we get here - around 300 days of sunshine a year! (I'm a British expat - and I do not miss the grey skies and rain!)

I used to live in MN and WI. Coldest was -25F before windchill in the middle of the day in Madison , 1985 or 86.

Now in High Desert of Southern CA. Unseansonaly warm: day 70's Night high 30's.

Never moving back to the Midwest, where there is a natural calamity called Winter.

Time to buy a house in Riverside, in a few months price may be bottoming soon, warmer!

A Lovely 7 degrees right now here in the Poc-yer-nose...f-f-freaking heat wave! At least the baseboard heaters can keep up with this....last night sucked! I just couldn't get warm, when I finally got the down comforters all lofted & toasty, the alarm went off! AARRRGHH! Got my baby Kali a thick fuzzy fleece for her crate. At 5, she deserves a little softer surface, & warmer, too. Hope she doesn't shred it! Last I looked, she had it all snuggled up around her. The other monsters can't be trusted. jh
