Look, I'm not saying you are a dog fighter. I am, however, surprised that you would offer to "set something up" to fight a pit bull against you GSD. As far as you speaking in glowing terms; your statements pro and con referrring to dog fighters seems to weigh in more in their favor than against and smacks of insider knowledge..
"The GSD is larger and fast, which allows them to control the head and ride while tucking the front legs."
Of course it cant be the same between every pair, but as I said, a GOOD GSD can hold its own or get the better of the early going with a Pit on open ground.
In an enclosed area the Pit can trap the GSD against a wall or in a corner, but on open ground a slick GSD can go on the defense and hold its own, or even gain an advantage.
Eventually the pain threshold of the GSD will give, but for a while it will do just fine.
Pitbull men use the term rough cur to describe a dog who is very rough and bites hard but if taken the distance will fold and quit.
Many professional Pitbull fights last over an hour or two hours. Often times the one who is winning big in the first 30 minutes, isnt the one who wins in the end.
Dogfighting is a very cruel game on any level whether it be ignorant thugs using rank cur Pits or Professionals using top bloodlines.
A professional dogfighter knows dogs like the back of his hand. He can condition a dog, much like a top mechanic can tune a Race Car.
He will have to know how to taste for a rub or a set up and his lfe may and probably will depend on it.
A Professional dogfighter should be able to suture any artery, and run an IV even if he has to cut and use the juggler vein when all other veins have collapsed. He will have a vast knowledge of all meds and their uses, as well as a vast knowledge of all performance enhancing steroids and which drugs will benefit the dog he is currently working.
Well let me tell you, no true dogfighter uses any other breed of dog than a Pit.
two statements that these people are scum of the earth, somehow, doesn't make much of an impact against the other statements you made. My remark was merely pointing out this imbalance so you would know how it may seem to some one who doesn't know you.
