LadyFrost

I choose not to believe what is taught because I have seen things in a near death situation.

GSD, do tell us about it....

Nope, last time I was basically called a liar. I will not give details beyond the fact that the bible is wrong in so many ways. If you want to believe the bible that is fine by me. I know what I know and that is what I believe.

toodles, lol, last time I heard toodles was in grade school. Just another day of wanna-be Christians who can't respect that others believe differently.

BTW, if you or anyone else ever calls me sock again you will be gone. Get it?

THE Spiritual world is real, as well as the Pyhsical.

YR, i think that is exactly what gsdadm is saying, s/he just respects a wider view of sprituality other than the bible.

Vk, I know. That's what I was saying, reading the bible is how one will decide to believe or not.

Uh'mm ,,, No, actually that's not the way it works IMO,,,

lol, please show me anywhere in this whole forum where I have said there is no spiritual world. What I have continued to say is it is not the way you believe.

IMO, I don't think this forum or for that matter any forum that is not religious in nature is a good place to preach, pontificate or otherwise hold bible studies with page after page of bible quotes and our interpretations and expect no one to disagree with your beliefs. And then to start and label the people disagreeing as being miserable or atheist is silly. Members who want to preach here should expect others to disagree.

GSD, I actually agree for the most part with almost all of your last paragraph.

Yes there was an abundance of preaching and quotes etc. but for the most part the other Chrisitans remained in the backround.

But now it has gone totally opposite. They are attacking Christians and religion, again in over abundance.

But I will stand by my opinion that the majority (not all) of the anti-Christians appear miserable. Sorry, but that is the way I see it. They are not happy with their lot in life.

The end product is that with all the fuss from both camps. No one was converted by either side. So it was all in vein.

Einstein's definision of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, since no one changed sides. The only conclusion I can come to is, maybe many of the posters here are insane, both camps included.

Regardless, I'm going golfing today...Thank God
