New version of PDB coming soon - Page 5

Everything looks nice, and I have had no problems so far!

The one problem I have to complain about happened before the new version went live. I was drafting a PM to someone, and tried to include some text cut and pasted from a Word document. The PM wouldn't send, due to 'coding errors'. I had to remove the cut and pasted text to get it to send.

 

Fortunately, that time round, I was able to get my PM back. However, today, I again tried to cut and paste text from Word, and the same thing happened. Again, the PM wouldn't send. And THIS TIME, I was NOT able to get it back! I LOST the whole darn message, and it was quite a lengthy one, too! 

Needless to say I was VERY unhappy. I am wondering if theire is some trick to posting text from a Word document that I don't know about?

 

Edit: Okay, I tried it again. A message with a piece of Word document went through just fine. Then I spent considerable time trying to re-create my original message. ONCE AGAIN< I LOST THE WHOLE DAMN THING!!  And the error message said it was due to 'bad syntax'.  (Not coding errors, that was my mistake.) I wonder if the message was too long, or if it just took me too long to compose??

the only issue i have is this 5 pages long heading of blue..i did screen shot but no option to paste it....
ctr+v does not work either....actually there is no option to load picture, run spell check or any other option when it comes to posting a message..and i am not in a simple form either.

PDB does not support IE 8 at this time so you can upgrade IE 8 to IE 11 or use a different browser.

It was nice to figure out that particular login bug.

I have no idea how many it could have affected.

@LadyFrost. I am trying to get in some ie8 support but it's a big hassle. All modern frameworks ignore it. If you are running windows 7 then upgrade to at least ie9. You will find it a better experience overall (not just on pdb)

I have been using it to upload my pedigree gallery pics and for me it is different but I am learning...Very different format but makes me think and look..IF you have not tried it, take a break and have nothing else to do that afternoon as it will take a while to get oriented..
