Thank you for sending the pix's;  she looks like a very pretty girl.  How is her temperament?? Training and otherwise??  Love Carly's conformation and your bitch looks really nice also.  You can PM me if you want.  Thx  Nanci

I have no objection to Pming you but it's okay for me to reply over here too. Earlier to my friends and maybe in other posts I may had bragged about her and maybe exagerrated a little but as I'm getting more experience and knowledge I think at this moment I can evaluate her better, but I sill remain away from being a top informed owner:

I like Carly a lot but I am disappointed with her structure as I was hoping and expecting her to be far better in conformation, she is healthy and on the smaller edge, substance is medium and even at this time her bones look thinner than in these pictures or when she was a baby. The best thing about her is her classy attitude, not submissive and extremely clean and tidy, even when she eats she does it in a classy manner, not in hurry, she has honor I may ad.
In regards to drives she is average or a bit less in all aspects. Now keep in mind I am not an expert but what I say is based on relativeness to my other working dogs:
Erri od Roubenky
Orwell z Noveho Draka
Inkka x jirkova dvora

All of them are harder, with more vitality and drives, very stubborn and want to play all the time and do not get tired.
Chetra is sweet and she is more of a show traits than a working. Now in regards to professional training we do not have the people or facilities here, so all I said above are more of impressions rather than from field.
If you ask specific questions I can provide a more precise answer, maybe.

What don't you like about her conformation? She looks as a working dog should.

by Ibrahim on 26 November 2010 - 17:11

As per the standard which is for both the show and working she has minor grades on many aspects like shoulder, arm, rear angulation, croup lay, tail set, tail itself, her paws (feet) a little flatter than should be. her height at the moment is only 52 cms, weight is 25 kgs. She is now more than 14 months old.

Correct: I meant to say she is 58 cms and weighs only 25 kgs (which is less or too lean)

Hmmm, I agree with you about the size, she does look petite, the tail, yes, I was wondering about that also, but rear angulation?   Do you think she needs more?

by Ibrahim on 26 November 2010 - 18:11

Maybe the correct is to say her rear legs are longer than they should be (the ideal) not the angulations really, I don't like too much angulations myself.

One more thing but I am not sure how to say it, looking at the back before the croup starts there are two bones visible and you can touch them, that doesn't look nice, looks like there is a break or interruption at that point.

Her size and faults may not be ideal for show or breeding and it's too bad she lacks drive, but I like the small dogs for speed and agility. Match this with proper drive and nerve, you have a fun dog to watch and work with.
