Blair, your point is not the part we don't understand. Your facts that you're using to make it are just screwy. 99% of "top sport" people would laugh in your face if you selected them a DDR puppy for competition. Sadly, DDR lines are so watered down (so they don't intimidate the fat ladies in spandex when they take them to UKC shows) that few are really capable of top sport. Of course I'm over-generalizing to make a point, but that's the stereotype. I have one or two lying around that if they weren't so damn gorgeous no one would believe they're DDR, but they are not the norm anymore, unfortunately.

By the stereotype, and facts, if you look at top sport dogs, a W.Ger dog w/out handler aggression and a good balanced head on his/her shoulders would be "better" for SchH. Better yet, a combo West/East. IMO, that's a great combo if you know the right lines and dogs to cross.

Blair...on a separate note..can you post a picture of your dog? in avatar that puppy is gorgeous..can we see upclose?
